Individually aged and unmistakably Italian, the U-Boat Darkmoon Unico 9600/A blends avant-garde Capsoil engineering with the character of a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind timepiece.

Its substantial 44.8mm AISI 316L stainless-steel case receives an aged-bronze PVD treatment using carefully selected oxidizing acids. Because the finishing process produces natural variations, every numbered Unico develops its own distinctive appearance.

The case is completely filled with a special oil that intensifies the rich, rust-colored dial and creates the illusion that the curved sapphire crystal has disappeared. A visible air bubble travels across the dial to compensate for temperature variations—an intentional signature of U-Boat’s Capsoil construction.

Inside is a Swiss Ronda 762 quartz movement, lubricated in an oil bath for precise, reliable performance. Black hands, indices and oversized numerals complement the distressed dial, while U-Boat’s characteristic left-side screw-down crown reinforces the watch’s bold Italian identity.

A handmade cognac leather strap—laser-cut, naturally aged and finished in Tuscany with waxed cotton stitching—completes this highly individual collector’s piece.
