The Seiko Prospex SRP789J1, affectionately known among collectors as the “Coke Turtle,” combines one of Seiko’s most iconic dive-watch case designs with a bold black-and-red bezel that gives this model unmistakable wrist presence.

Inspired by Seiko’s legendary cushion-case divers of the 1970s, the SRP789J1 features the famous Turtle case—large, rugged and instantly recognizable, yet surprisingly comfortable thanks to its curved profile and short lugs. The black dial is fitted with oversized LumiBrite markers and broad luminous hands for outstanding legibility in low-light conditions.

Its defining feature is the black-and-red “Coke” unidirectional bezel, a color combination that has made this reference particularly popular with Seiko enthusiasts. The day-date display at 3 o’clock adds everyday practicality while maintaining the classic Seiko diver aesthetic.
