PHOIBOS Argo PY052F – Gradient Spiral Sunray Yellow – 200M Automatic Diver

The PHOIBOS Argo PY052F is a distinctive modern automatic diver combining serious specifications with one of the most eye-catching dial designs in the Argo collection.

Its centerpiece is the spectacular Gradient Spiral Sunray Yellow dial, featuring an embossed spiral texture that creates exceptional depth and movement as it catches the light. Depending on the viewing angle, the dial transitions through vibrant yellow and rich golden tones.

Bold applied hour markers and hands are treated with an impressive 15 layers of Super-LumiNova BGW9, producing a powerful blue glow in darkness. PHOIBOS' distinctive sandblasted dodecagonal inner chapter ring adds another architectural element to the dial.

The watch is housed in a 40.5mm 316L stainless steel case, measuring 48mm lug-to-lug and 12.5mm thick, giving it substantial wrist presence while remaining highly wearable.

A double-domed sapphire crystal with three internal anti-reflective coatings provides excellent scratch resistance and clarity. Surrounding it is a glossy black ceramic 120-click unidirectional dive bezel.

Power comes from the proven Seiko NH35 automatic movement, featuring automatic and manual winding along with hacking seconds.

With a screw-down crown and 200 meters / 660 feet of water resistance, the Argo is engineered as a genuinely capable dive watch rather than simply borrowing the aesthetic of one.

The solid 316L stainless steel bracelet tapers from 20mm to 18mm and features an especially useful on-the-fly micro-adjustable clasp, allowing the fit to be adjusted quickly without tools.
