The Islander ISL-80 brings together vintage military-inspired styling and modern dive-watch construction. Its standout feature is a distinctive black sandwich dial, paired with warm Old Radium-style lume and a fixed pilot bezel for a look that's quite different from the typical rotating-bezel diver.
The sandwich dial uses a sunburst black upper layer with cut-out hour markers, revealing a luminous lower layer underneath. This construction gives the dial genuine depth and a three-dimensional appearance.
